It all started in September of 2001 when we (Nick & John) took a film class senior year at Valley Stream
South. Our final film project was to make a short film, so we decided to make our version of
"Halloween." After that, we decided to continue to make movies, and that’s when Basket Full of Puppies
was born. We had to make a film final for our Sociology class, we got an 'A' so that gave us more
inspiration. In order to keep BFP going, we reached deep into our soul and found our inspiration: Random
comedy! 2 years later, we decided to take BFP in a different direction and add another member none
other than Rob in February of 2003. Since Rob joined, he has come up with some of our best ideas so
far. We filmed a few shorts with Rob in the summer of 2003, but then we decided to make some
personnel changes. In November of 2003 we added another new member, Ant. In the summer of 2004,
Dan joined the BFP group making us the fab 5. So you asked what we are inspired by so we'll tell you.
Stella, Wet Hot American Summer, Trey Parker, Matt Stone, Will Ferrell, Mr. Show, Ronnie Dobbs
(David Cross), and Old School (The Movie and The Style). We're always up to something so keep
checking back for the latest! We put a lot of time into our shorts and site so we hope you enjoy and
spread the word making 2007 the year of…The Puppy!
